Trek to the Trees

We think you’re really going to fall for our next trek,
and we certainly don’t want to leaf you behind!

Join us for our autumn trek, the Trek to the Trees! We’ll be spying spectacular fall colors along a 2,200 route from Arkansas to Vermont. As we trek, we’ll ask you to share your fall favorites: Football? Turkey trots? Halloween festivities?? Let’s see ‘em!

Registration is now open.

  1. Click on the Register button.

  2. You will be rerouted to the Trek to the Trees page on MyVirtualMission.com.

  3. Click Join Mission at the bottom of your screen.

  4. Then you’ll see a pop-up. Select the team you’d like to trek with by using the scroll bar on the right. Or, if you’re going it alone or will need help from us selecting a team, select “Complete by myself” (We will contact you to help)

  5. You’ll also need to select a timeframe for completing the trek. Please select 6 weeks. (Don’t worry – no one gets kicked off the route if it takes you a little longer!) 

  6. If you would like a Transplant Trekkers T-shirt for $10, please leave your shirt size and mailing address in the comment box. When you pay, you will select the $20 option to cover registration and T-shirt.

  7. When you’re finished, click Let’s Go!

  8. If you have previously participated in a Conqueror or My Virtual Mission, you already have an account; so simply sign in. If you are new to My Virtual Mission, you will be directed to create an account.  

  9. Submit your payment information and then click Pay & Join. That’s it!

Your payment receipt is your confirmation that you have joined the trek. You should also receive a welcome email. You can now download the “My Virtual Mission” app to your mobile device from your App Store and begin exploring the app and the My Virtual Mission webpage. On October 17, 2022, you and your teammates can begin posting your miles!

How it works

You can walk, jog, pedal, hike, swim, row, skate, paddle, garden, do yoga, play pickleball—it all counts!

Here’s how it works:

Join our current trek and help us raise awareness about transplant. Be part of a community of great folks, make progress along our virtual route, and earn a swell virtual badge!

2.

Along the trek, you’ll receive postcards highlighting interesting sites and sharing facts about living donation. We hope you’ll share these postcards with your followers and get the word out about donation.

3.

Keep us posted about your progress and inspire others by sharing photos and videos along the way with #TransplantTrekkers.
