Our Story
Transplant Trekkers is a program of the John Brockington Foundation. Our goal is to spread the word about organ donation by engaging friends and families—and their networks—to join us on virtual treks. We are donors, recipients, and professionals, as well as runners, walkers, bikers, and gardeners. All those activities and more count as miles toward our virtual destinations. We are a group of donors, recipients, and transplant professionals who, along with our families and friends, join up to take a virtual trek. Our mission is to familiarize people with living donation by inviting them to join us on our custom virtual mission as we trek together to our goal of a donor friendly culture. The trek may be virtual, but the lives saved are real.
